Plant Material Handler (Forklift Required)

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused (Stand Up) Material Handler to support our food manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the movement, storage, and staging of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining food safety and quality standards. 

 

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Franklin, WI

Pay Range: $22.50hr

Shift: 6am-6pm 2-2-3 (rotating schedule)

Responsibilities: 

  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. 

  • Move, stage, and store raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods throughout the facility. 

  • Supply production and packaging lines with the materials needed to support continuous operations. 

  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments while verifying quantities and documentation. 

  • Perform accurate inventory transactions, including scanning, labeling, and tracking materials in company systems. 

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through timely and precise material movements. 

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED. 

  • Experience operating forklifts or powered industrial trucks (PIT). 

  • Basic computer skills. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
