Precision Welder

Our client, the power generation and heavy industrial equipment sector, is seeking a dedicated Precision Welder to join their team. As a Precision Welder, you will be part of the manufacturing and repair department supporting industrial maintenance and repair operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift: Days & Nights

What's the Job?

• Perform TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), and Stick (SMAW) welding on various alloys including stainless steel, Hastelloy-X, Inconel, aluminum, and steels.
• Weld materials as thin as 0.060 inches while maintaining dimensional and metallurgical integrity.
• Perform weld build-up, restoration, fabrication, and repair of turbine and industrial components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, repair procedures, and welding specifications accurately.
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with safety policies and quality standards.

What's Needed?

• Experience with TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), and Stick (SMAW) welding processes.
• Ability to weld a variety of alloys including stainless steel, Hastelloy-X, Inconel, aluminum, and steels.
• Knowledge of welding repair, fabrication, and welding inspection techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and welding specifications.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an industrial shop environment.
