Brake Press Operator

Our client, manufacturing industry is seeking Brake Operator to join their team.  You will be part of the production department supporting operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong work ethic, and teamwork skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Brake Operator

Location: York, PA

Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00

Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal parts based on blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and bend schedules.
• Select appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, gauges, and tape measures to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain tolerances and correct defects.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience operating press brake machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures).
• Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals.
