Material Handler

Our client, an industry leader in waste management and environmental services, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be an essential part of the Hazardous Waste Operations supporting the Waste Management Department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Commerce City, CO

Pay Range: $28.00

Shift: Day

What's the Job?

• Handle hazardous waste materials, including working with drums in compliance with safety standards
• Assist with labeling drums and organizing waste materials according to regulations
• Support emergency spill response procedures to ensure safety and environmental protection
• Maintain accurate documentation and MSDS organization for waste management activities
• Follow DOT and RCRA regulations to ensure all operations meet legal standards

What's Needed?

• Experience working with hazardous waste, particularly drums, is preferred
• Familiarity with DOT and RCRA regulations
• Knowledge of MSDS purposes, organization, and waste management practices
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a physically demanding environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
