Assistant Team Leader – Warehouse (1st Shift)
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift (flexibility required for overtime and weekends)
Position Summary
The Assistant Team Leader supports daily warehouse operations by helping lead a team in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. This role assists in driving productivity, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, reliable, and able to thrive in a dynamic setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Team Leader in overseeing daily warehouse operations and workflow
- Support team members to meet productivity, quality, and performance goals
- Help coordinate staffing, assignments, and workflow to support production demands
- Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and support as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and operational procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership regarding daily activities
- Assist with onboarding and training new employees
- Step in to lead operations in the Team Leader’s absence
Qualifications
- Bilingual required (English/Spanish)
- Minimum of 1 year of Team Lead or leadership experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production or warehouse environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Basic computer skills; warehouse system experience preferred
