Assistant Team Leader – Warehouse (1st Shift)

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift (flexibility required for overtime and weekends)

Position Summary

The Assistant Team Leader supports daily warehouse operations by helping lead a team in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. This role assists in driving productivity, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, reliable, and able to thrive in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Team Leader in overseeing daily warehouse operations and workflow
• Support team members to meet productivity, quality, and performance goals
• Help coordinate staffing, assignments, and workflow to support production demands
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and support as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and operational procedures
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership regarding daily activities
• Assist with onboarding and training new employees
• Step in to lead operations in the Team Leader’s absence

Qualifications

• Bilingual required (English/Spanish)
• Minimum of 1 year of Team Lead or leadership experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production or warehouse environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Basic computer skills; warehouse system experience preferred
• Resume required for consideration

• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing, walking, lifting, etc.)
