Our client, a leading organization in the facilities management industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician II, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician II

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range: $31

Shift: 1st / Day

What's the Job?

  • Perform maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems to ensure optimal operation.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems including 480V, 277V, and single-phase wiring issues.
  • Maintain and repair plumbing fixtures, drain lines, and water heaters to uphold safety and compliance standards.
  • Replace belts, filters, and monitor building temperature controls to maintain a comfortable environment.
  • Assist with the upkeep of lighting, dock levelers, high-speed doors, and other essential equipment.

What's Needed?

  • Hands-on experience in maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems (3-5 years preferred).
  • Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics accurately.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting wiring, balancing loads, and repairing fixtures.
  • Familiarity with building systems such as lighting, motors, exhaust fans, and occupancy sensors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
