Calibration Technician

Our client, a leader in precision measurement and calibration services, is seeking a Calibration Technician to join their team. As a Calibration Technician, you will be part of the Metrology Support Department supporting calibration and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Calibration Technician

Location: Novi, MI

Pay Range:  $22-$25/hour

Shift: 2nd (start 2, 3 or 4pm) - 3-6 months on first shift for training

What's the Job?

• Perform accurate, correct, and repeatable calibrations of customer equipment according to ISO 17025 standards
• Document and report calibration results, providing certification traceable to N.I.S.T and ISO 17025 standards
• Maintain company calibration equipment in optimal working condition
• Assist with repairing and calibrating assessment tools and measurement devices
• Prepare documentation for various calibration assignments and ensure timely completion of all business tasks

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 – 3 years of related experience in calibration or mechanical work
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in calibration of PCMM's and/or machine repair preferred - not required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
