Our client, a leader in industrial automation and control systems, is seeking a Process Control Engineer to join their team. As a Process Control Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting operational excellence and technological innovation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Process Control Engineer

Location:Allentown, Pennsylvania

Pay Range:$55-60/hr. 

What's the Job?

  • Execute projects to maintain and enhance automated control systems within manufacturing facilities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and production staff to implement system expansions and upgrades.
  • Design, install, and commission control systems including PLC and DCS systems.
  • Upgrade legacy systems such as Allen Bradley PLC5 to CLX5000 and SLC500 to CLX5000, as well as Siemens PCS7 HMI and controller upgrades.
  • Travel up to 40% across various facilities within the US for installation checkout and system commissioning.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Control Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with automated control systems and system upgrades.
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically within the US, primarily on the East to West Coast.
