Location: Livonia, MI
Pay Rate: $28/hr
Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM (hours will vary based on location)

As a Phlebotomist, you are often the first point of contact for patients and play a vital role in delivering an exceptional patient experience. Your expertise in specimen collection, attention to detail, and commitment to quality help ensure accurate diagnostic testing and positive patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques while following established procedures
  • Perform pediatric, geriatric, forensic, and clinical specimen collections with accuracy and professionalism
  • Verify patient identification and demographic information and ensure specimens are labeled correctly in the patient's presence
  • Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and maintain required documentation and records
  • Travel between multiple patient service centers and/or physician offices as business needs require
  • Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment at all times
  • Support daily operations by managing multiple priorities in a high-volume setting
  • Promote a positive experience for patients, clients, and team members through outstanding customer service

What We're Looking For

  • A current, up-to-date resume
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Excellent phlebotomy and specimen handling skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel between multiple work locations with minimal notice
  • Medical assistant, paramedic training, or phlebotomy certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of Patient Service Center experience preferred
  • Keyboard and data entry experience preferred
  • Flexible availability to support weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call coverage as needed
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements
