Will need own Equipment: welding helmet, steel-toed shoes, welding sleeves/jacket. Welding tests will be done on-site with client.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    1. Operates safety equipment and uses safe work habits while performing their job function.
    2. Ability and knowledge in operation welding equipment using a MIG weld process
    3. Math skills to add and subtract fractions.
    4. Receives instructions, work orders and prints for the job.
    5. Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded. Sets up, assembles, and tacks weld parts.
    6. Welds components in flat, vertical or overhead positions.
    7. Lays out, positions, aligns, and secures parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straight edges, combination squares, calipers, and scales.
    8. Operates manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes such as gas metal arc.
    9. Follows production schedules to meet work order delivery dates ensuring efficient use of labor.
    10. Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
    11. Stand on feet for 8 hours per day.
    12. Capable of lifting 50 pounds.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. Completion of formal apprenticeship program or a minimum of 1-2 years welding experience and satisfy all required functions of the job description.
    2. Knowledge of welding machines and tools, including their designs and uses.
    3. Good listener and proactive team player to provide feedback and troubleshooting where required.

    SPECIFICATIONS:
    1. MUST be able to work 8am to 5pm Monday thru Friday. This is not a part time job.

    * Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective parts, test and make adjustments to automated production equipment

    Qualifications:
    * Post-secondary education in Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics or related field
    * Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
    * Experience in trouble shooting and equipment maintenance of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and robotics problems on automated equipment
    * Able to replace and repair equipment when required (under 24V)
    * Must be able to demonstrate the ability to replace and repair equipment when required
    * PLC programming experience highly desirable
