    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Perform conversions and/or retrofit installation in safe, timely, and efficient manner. Inspect and test each installed component ensuring conversion is safe and effective. Perform leak test to check system integrity. Inspect and ensure emission control devices are present and functional. Perform pre and post conversion emissions evaluation. Maintain service records on each vehicle accurately. Complete daily maintenance and repair logs. Complete work orders and any paperwork required. Comply with all personal and environmental safety practices. Record all time and materials used during installation process. Become cross retained on all jobs within team and be able to substitute for any position as certified. Provide on-the-job training as requested.
    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
    Conduct vehicle inspections and complete pre-conversion checklist. Test vehicles for acceptable driving and operation (on each fuel for dual fuel vehicles). Maintain equipment in clean and functional state at all times. Safely use all power and hand-held mechanic's tools. Perform Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM). Participate in Continuous Improvement events and workshops as requested. Lean, 5s and Green responsibilities. Responsible for participating in training as required.
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    Possess a valid driver's license. Successfully complete client driving history report. Able to perform accurate math calculations and measurements using calipers and micrometer. Aptitude to learn computer skills relating to position. Complete required VVS Installation Technician Training Plan.
    Able to obtain forklift driver's license.
    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
    High School Diploma or GED, State of Michigan Certification in Suspension, State of Michigan Certification in Electrical/Electrical Systems or trainee permit
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    State of Michigan Certification in Brakes/Braking System, CNG conversion/installation experience
    CNG maintenance experience, CNG diagnosis and repair experience, Experience working with diesel and/or other alternative fuels, Automotive fabrication and welding experience, Automotive modification experience

    Understand high pressure gas lines and use appropriate safety measures. The Associate will be working with metal automotive parts performing machine operation and assembly duties. Will also be loading and unloading a machine with parts and visual inspection of parts. Must be able to work both weekday and weekend overtime as well as possess a High School Diploma or GED. We are looking for candidates who can maintain a great attendance record and work effectively in a team environment.
