    Principle Accountabilities:
    * Create printable files for Primitives by Kathy Products using Adobe illustrator, InDesign and Adobe Photoshop
    * Develop new products through typography, art and image manipulation, design aesthetics using a variety
    * of design elements to achieve artistic or decorative effects for our home décor items
    * Ability to follow pre-defined rules and standards for a wide variety of products.
    * Regularly meet with Art Director and Production Manager to understand design requirements as
    * well as production deadlines
    * Stay current and up-to-date with the latest software and computer technologies
    * Complete understanding of copy editing, sentence structure, proofreading, and Chicago Manual of Style and/or AP Stylebook best practices.
    * Work with Marketing Director and VP of Creative Services to apply metrics and ROI of content marketing initiatives and apply insights into future programs and tactics.
    * Perform administrative tasks, such as creating reports, maintaining folders and files, and responding to emails in a timely manner.

    Skills & Competencies:

    * Proven graphic design experience with a strong portfolio
    * Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
    * Strong Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign skills
    * Ability to follow rules and guidelines

    We're in need of junior-level designers to create visual communications that inspire, inform, and capture the attention of our corporate and field audiences in print, presentations or online media.
    * Make revisions to existing materials as requested by business partners incorporating changes into the final design.
    * Review and proofread designs before printing or publishing materials.
    * Manage small projects from beginning to end and may create supporting elements for large projects.
    * Track your time and project workflow through our Workfront project management system.
    * Support design team that includes file management, version control, print vendor and agency support.
    * Support to our field employees by managing incoming email relating to their professional portraits. Duties include mailbox maintenance, cropping, uploading and maintaining photo database.

    * 2-3 years of design experience in an in-house or agency creative team.
    * High level of proficiency in Adobe creative suite, primarily InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
    * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is necessary
    * Strong attention to detail and superior interpersonal skills
    Like to haves:
    * Familiarity with PowerPoint, Adobe Lightroom, HTML email, Jungle Mail and animation tools a plus

    CAD Designer / CNC Programmer
    Position Description

    This is what you will do on the job:
    * Review client specifications and determine build-able design concept. Analyzes job order and performs necessary calculations.
    * Create 3D CAD design blueprints.
    * Specify time and materials needed to build work piece
    * Coordinate with service team to ensure standards are met
    * Make calculations for programming including where materials should be cut.
    * Translate instructions into a computer automated manufacturing (CAM) program.
    * Prepares geometric layout of designs using proper software.
    * Determine sequence of operations in a program.
    * Evaluate all completed designs to validate their functions and ensure they successfully reduce time and money for the client.
    * Provides training for stakeholders in the plant as needed
    * Complies with all safety rules and regulations.

    *Continuing education to learn new techniques as they emerge.

    Work Environment
    *Time is spent in a climate controlled office environment.
    *Time is spent in front of a computer screen keyboarding and manipulation a mouse.
    *Must be able to do shift work.
    *Must be willing to visit manufacturing warehouses to observe equipment in action and wear safety goggles and other PPE.
    *Must be willing to work in areas with high levels of noise such as plants or engineering departments.
    *Salaries range from $35,000 to $45,000 per year.
    *Hourly wages range from $15 to $22 an hour.
