    Manpower has a true temporary position available in Benzie County working 24 hour weeks that will run through mid-March, 2018 with a salary of $15.00 per hour.     Providing assistance in completing payments and examining expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices and preparing payroll. Also providing secretarial support as needed.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    - Compiling and maintaining accounts payable records
    - Printing accounts payable checks and obtaining signatures
    - Maintaining accounts payable reports and spreadsheet payable files
    - Entering time sheet calculations, data entry and associated record-keeping and filing of payroll
    - Compiling information for 1099's during year end processes
    - Responding to vendor inquiries
    - Monitoring department budgets, reporting potential financial variances
    - Providing secretarial support as requested, i.e., posting notices, copying, printing, filing and typing meeting minutes

    Key Competencies:

    - Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles
    - Knowledge of payroll procedures and applicable regulations
    - Attention to detail in order to detect errors, determine causes and make appropriate corrections
    - Intermediate to advanced computer navigation and software knowledge
    - Ability to accurately organize and maintain paper documents and electronic files
    - Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and professional boundaries with customers, co-workers, vendors and others

    As a Court Law Enforcement Officer, you provide for the safety and security of judges, jurors, witnesses and the general public by performing daily checks of the court facility and screening individuals as they enter the building. A successful Court Law Enforcement Officer remains composed in stressful situations: strategically stationed, alert, and responsive to any security risk during court proceedings.     * A willingness to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
    * The ability to travel and work in different locations in Maine with minimal notice
    * The ability to assist with emergency disaster planning and evacuations
    * The ability to accurately write and file incident reports and arrest records for each case handled during the shift.
