    VIA Rail Canada is currently seeking 10 On-Train Service Attendants for our Toronto Terminal.

    Based in Toronto - Ontario, you will make the routes of Toronto-Montréal, Toronto-Windsor or Toronto-Niagara.

    Contributing to their pleasurable trip, you will provide passengers with a comfy and safe experience:

    * helping with baggage

    PERMANENT POSITION

    SCHEDULE
    You are available to work:
    * on variable schedule including weekends and holidays and on call (no guaranteed hours)
    * for extended periods (approx. 1-3 days) away from home

    TRAINING
    You will follow a five-week training session which must be successfully completed before obtaining the position.
    You must be available for September 18th, 2017.

    SALARY
    during training: $12.20/hour
    once position obtained: $21.89/hour
    Requirements :
    You are well-suited for this challenge if you:
    * have a strong ability to communicate with a smile, both in English and French
    * possess a High School Diploma
    * have a minimum of one year of customer service experience, ideally in food service industry, restaurant or airline company as a flight attendant
    * must be physically able to lift weights up to 23kg
