Full Time Permanent Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Maintenance Technician

* Shift: Rotational Shifts (12 hour shifts) - rotate from days to nights and back to nights every 2 weeks

What is the job?
Be a lead member of the maintenance team as it performs predictive, preventative, and improvement base maintenance ensuring safety, quality and productivity of the work performed.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
*Define, develop and execute maintenance inspection and maintenance plans
*Actively perform failure and root cause analysis and propose and execute the proper corrective action plan
*Propose, develop and execute master plans to continue to improve maintenance performance, focusing on safety, reliability, and maintainability
*Program the necessary maintenance activities in PM Days and REX (Extraordinary Repairs)
*Technically supervising the maintenance activities performed by third parties, assuring safety, quality and productivity while performing the activities
*Guarantee the availability of critical spare parts
*Propose and control maintenance costs budget
*Be a technical referent for equipment or technology under his/her responsibility
*Actively participate and collaborate with production teams in increasing KPIs (key performance indicators)
*And other duties as assigned

What is required by the job?
*High schools diploma or equivalent
*2 to 3 years' industrial maintenance experience or technical degree, associate's degree, certificate or equivalent in related field
*Knowledge of mechanical & transmission equipment
*Knowledge of lubrication theory and systems
*Knowledge of AC motor systems
*Knowledge of power distribution and motor control systems (high & medium voltage)
*Knowledge of equipment inspection techniques
*Knowledge of predictive maintenance
*Knowledge of hydraulic equipment preferred
*Knowledge of instrumentation systems preferred
*Knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic controllers) preferred
