Job Description

This position is with a the world's leading global supplier of polycoated and silicone-coated papers and films and is currently offering challenging and rewarding job opportunities for motivated professionals.

This position is responsible for providing support to the HR Manager and assisting in general day to day operations of human resources, payroll, and benefits including:

Perform all activities related to processing bi-weekly payroll, processing involuntary deductions such as garnishments, support orders, etc.,


Complete bi-weekly payroll

Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports

Maintain employee personnel, medical, benefit and payroll files.

Administer FMLA/STD/Cobra claims

Experience processing payroll, taxes, benefits and deductions

Assist in screening, hiring, onboarding, and developing new employees to enable them to add value quickly

Maintain employee personnel, medical, benefit and payroll files.

Recruitment support, including posting job openings, facilitating interview process, reference checks, criminal background check processing, and extending offers.

Assist with employee onboarding, facilitate new hire orientation.

Serve as a point of contact for employee related questions pertaining to HR, benefits and payroll.

Work with cross-functional teams, and with minimal direction

Qualifications Required:

BA/BS Degree

Previous experience in ADP/Workforce Now software

3-5 years solid payroll administration

3-5 years benefit administration

HRIS systems knowledge and experience

Strong knowledge of wage & hour, employment laws and familiarity with state and federal regulations

Solid ability to analyze data

Exceptional attention to detail

Exceptional commitment to customer service

Highest degree of professionalism, integrity and a proven track record of discretion in handling confidential information

Positive, "can do" attitude a must

Qualifications Preferred:

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification

Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification
