Job Description

Manpower is currently recruiting for a Benefits Coordinator for a local Medical Supply company. This person will be primarily responsible for day to day benefit administration for a multi-state employer with 1200 employees. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in Benefits Administration and/or Human Resources; will be self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication as well as customer service skills.

Your Duties and Responsibilities

Administration of medical, dental, life, FSA, supplemental insurance and 401k plan including:

* Notification of eligibility

* Processing of enrollment/disenrollment

* Reconciliation of monthly benefit invoices/premiums

* Plan design/change suggestions

Annual open enrollment including:

* Designing and preparation of Open Enrollment documents

* Distribution, collection and processing of changes

* Open Enrollment meetings at various branch locations

Maintaining enrollments and deductions within the payroll system

Education and outreach to employees regarding benefits

Helping employees with eligibility, claims or coverage issues

ACA reporting

Administration of leave of absence policies (FMLA, OFLA, etc.)

Plan document mailings

Ensure compliance with ERISA, DOL and federal contractor requirements


* Minimum of 2-3 years in implementing benefits and/or health insurance

* Strong knowledge of health insurance

* Experience with an HRIS system is a plus

* Strong knowledge of Excel is a plus
