Job Description

Our Manitoba based client who is an established multinational company with subsidiaries all across Canada is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor within the Manufacturing or Agricultural industry. Be part of our team of experts and one of the best managed companies in Canada.

In order to qualify for this role, it is vital that you:

* Be available Monday to Sunday (Five Days work)

* Be available 8 to 12 Hour Shifts

* Have access to Vehicle or have means of transportation/ Valid Class 5 Driver's license is a MUST.

* 25% Travel to work location

Must have qualifications:

* Minimum of 5- 10 solid years of Maintenance, Repair, Implementation, Quality Assurance and Project Management in a manufacturing environment or agriculture sector experience

* Minimum of three years of supervisory management experience and involvement with Lean Manufacturing projects is preferred.

* Ability to work independently and in a multifunctional team with minimal supervision

* Solid experience working a Manufacturing Plant or Agriculture environment with excellent project management experience in multiple simultaneous projects.

* Basic Computer Skills and Heavy lifting maybe required

* Supervise and will be technical resource in managing maintenance team, including millwrights, electricians, and technicians.

* Familiarity with health and safety, CFIA/USDA statutory regulations, and working knowledge of Plant Maintenance Functions is necessary.

* Able to work independently in a fast paced environment and ability to work well in a diverse team environment

* Exposure in GMPs, HACCP, WHMIS and health & safety requirements is preferred

* Strong knowledge of Mechanical or Electrical is required.
