Job Description

Seeking a material handler to support the Drug Product Supply - IM operations. As a member of the IM team the candidate will be required to learn a wide variety of support activities and functions while supporting both development and clinical materials. This role will be required to follow GMP standards and for assuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies along with all applicable worldwide regulations and guidelines (e.g. FDA, DEA, TSA, MHRA).

* Complete GMP/quality inspections on incoming materials, to include but not limited to API's, Excipients, Raw Materials, Controlled Substances, and Hazardous materials
* Receive, sample, dispense, ship, manage and maintain all material types to support both development and clinical activities
* Responsible for identifying, reporting and supporting the resolution of quality concerns, at times contributing to the subsequent investigational reports
* Receiving materials into multiple approved electronic inventory systems to include but not limited to M3-PeopleSoft, Clinicopia and CSDS.
* Labeling of materials in accordance with required procedures
* Performing electronic and physical inventory transactions for materials
* Perform Infrastructure duties including; warehouse management, cycle counts, stock rotation, cleaning, waste management, segregation of materials, etc.
* Complete all required daily documentation right the first time
* Putaway, transferring and picking of materials from multiple GMP warehouses
* Subdividing and sampling of all material types, to include hazardous materials
* Prepare all material types for shipments, to include the completion of all shiping functions
* Work in compliance with Quality, GMP and EHS procedures/guidelines
* Follow applicable SOPs/procedures in relation to activities being complete
* Cross train within functional areas of Inventory Management
* Demonstrates sound understanding and advanced knowledge of the practices and concepts of Inventory Management and a working knowledge of principles, practices, concepts and operations within other partner disciplines.
* Ability to shift priorities and tasks throughout the workday to meet customer requirements.
* Interact with customers/partner lines as needed
* Ability to escalate issues immediately
* Must be adaptable and maintain flexibility in completing daily tasks in an ever changing work environment. Proven ability to multitask, manage time and work load
* Maintain excellent customer service and assure on time delivery (OTD)
* Ability to manage own time independently with little supervision, being accountable for results
* Displays and influences appropriate behaviors and adheres to Pfizer standards and values
* Operational SOP/SOI writing / updating required
* Effective collaboration with partner lines and customers bases

High School diploma or equivalent
* Language Skills: Effective and legible written and oral communication skills
* Ability to complete mathematical calculations
* Demonstrated excellence interpersonal and team building skills, including good behaviors
* Experience in a cGMP environment
* Experience in a cGMP sample and dispense clean room
* Exerience working with DEA/CT Drug Control regulated drugs
* Experience in a regulated work environment
* Experience with inventory management databases and processes
* Ability to obtain the following certifications as applicable: Power Jack certification, Fork Lift, Raymond Lift, DOT/IATA regulations
* Ability to drive multiple vehicles, including trucks
* Must have a valid driver's license
