Job Description

We have an excellent temp to hire opportunity area for a Product Flow & Slotting Coordinator. This is for a large Distribution Center in the North Fort Worth area.
The Inbound Product Flow and Slotting Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and planning the flow of inbound freight as well as optimizing product flow within the distribution center. The Inbound and Product Flow and Slotting Coordinator must have strong planning, organizing and analytical abilities. Proven proficiency with MS Excel and SQL is required
The individual must demonstrate a strong work ethic, enthusiasm and good communication skills in order to successfully fulfill the requirements of job.
The candidate needs to have advanced Excel skills. They need to know how to write and interpret formulas, vlookup tables and pivot tables. A familiarity with Sequel developer is a plus. This person need to be comfortable using various Microsoft platforms. Attention to detail is an absolute must.

General Responsibilities:
Oversee inbound product flow planning and optimization
Implement and maintain processes to insure goods are received into the DC depending on priority and urgency
Ensure that inbound goods are received at the appropriate DC to minimize product handling and optimize space utilization
Move goods as needed in and between facilities to keep proper balance of inventory to ensure orders are processed in a timely manner
Develop and maintain accurate records and communication regarding inbound shipments
Drive optimization of product flow within the distribution center
Monthly/weekly review of SKU level sales forecast and Strategic Programs List to ensure that the DC is properly slotted to optimize product flow and minimize labor
Help DC to minimize product touches by identifying wasteful or unnecessary handling of goods within the distribution center
Develop reporting tools and provide reporting support to manager
Develop and produce reports that help the management team stay informed as to the status of inbound product as well as product flow performance
Fully trained on most weekly and monthly reports and can provide backup coverage when needed
Identify process improvements and suggest alternative processes
Generate SOPs

Maintain work space and conduct responsibilities at both Fort Worth distribution centers
Help oversee the seasonal case pack programs as needed
Help oversee or participate in special projects as needed

Qualifications:
4 year college degree or 5 years related work experience preferred
Positive attitude
Professional conduct & strong work ethic
Strong mathematical, logical and analytic abilities
Good verbal, written and presentation communications skills
Ability to work under minimum supervision and meet regular deadlines
Ability to work within cross functional teams
Proficiency with MS Excel, SQL platforms and Power Point
Familiarity with WMS, LMS and ERP packages preferred
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
