Job Description

A Program Manager Career opportunity is available at an industry leader in electronics manufacturing in Lancaster, PA. This position plans, coordinates and directs work activities associated with proposals, contract negotiation and administration, development, production and support of programs as assigned. This position requires a U.S. government security clearance to the level of secret.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Exercises responsibilities for the initiation, review, approval of program proposals
* Provides for the development and maintenance of program plans and budgets
* Reviews estimates of material, equipment, labor costs, and ODC requirements
* Defines and communicates the scope of work under the contract
* Ensures compliance with Government, Company, customer, and industry specifications and regulations (I.E. FAR, DFAR, ITAR etc.).
* Ensures adherence to all contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements on proposals and contracts.
* Coordinates the Company position and serves as the primary representative in dealing with the customer and related contractors of program matters.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical / engineering, business, or financial discipline with professional level courses in contract administration.
* A minimum of 8 years' experience in program management with a concentration in the electronics / communications industry supporting U.S., DOD and foreign military governments
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; strong detail orientation.
* Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment.
* Knowledge of people management skills, particularly influence management and conflict resolution.
* General knowledge of operations, including scheduling, procurement, manufacturing, test engineering, and quality systems.
* Ability to understand, track, drill-down, and question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based upon that data.
