Job Title: Marketing Intern (Paid)

Hours: Part-Time, 16-25 hours/week


Manpower is looking for a driven, ambitious and energetic professional who wants to establish a career in content marketing and social media. Manpower provides extensive training, guidance and support, as well as the opportunity to experience the industry from the inside and gain valuable work experience.

As a Marketing Intern, you'll serve as a creative and social media guru, supporting our leadership team to execute on content, brand, social media and growth strategies. This role will report to senior management and be responsible for leading projects and assessing value of our campaigns.

What does a Marketing Intern do?

Successful candidates are self-motivated and exert management potential. Successful candidates will be adept in project management, event coordination and content creation. The best candidates will draw on education, training and relevant work experience to develop creative promotional materials and be able to evaluate value. Successful candidates understand the necessity of providing exceptional customer service and the importance of finishing a project on time and under budget.

Requirements for Consideration

* Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in a bachelors program at an accredited college or university.

o Business, marketing, advertising, journalism or communications

* Strong social media experience/exposure including blogging, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn is preferred

o Candidates may be asked to share insight/examples of their personal pages

* Understanding branding through social media channels

* Knowledge or willingness to become proficient in social analytics

* Ability to connect/manage social media outlets

* Knowledge of social media scheduling and distribution tools

* Ability to excel in a deadline-driven environment

* Superior communication and organizational skills

o Sales and presentation skills preferred

* Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.

* Experience with Adobe Creative Applications/Software, Microsoft Office, Google Applications & Analytics

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Have a passion for people and growth


- On occasion, candidate may be asked to work at different Manpower branch location to assist with project execution
