Responsibilities include:
Physically weighs material in and out of the vault area and records the information in the inventory system. The Vault Technician must pay close attention to detail, accuracy, weight losses or gains, material description and lot numbers. Attention to detail in this position is CRITICAL. Must be proficient in the use of computers and experience with SAP is desirable. Verifies the accuracy of all material weights. Receives in, weighs and verifies inbound shipments of raw materials. Updates the metal movement transitions between the warehouse and the manufacturing floors (raw to WIP). Works closely with the manufacturing staff to issue materials to production. Assists with Physical Inventory. Works with Inventory / Production Control Department in the expediting and physical movement of raw materials and manufacturing work orders to ensure a quicker cycle time for metal recovery between the vault, manufacturing and refining departments to help lower inventory levels which will reduce metal purchases. Conforms to all safety protocol and procedures, including maintaining a neat and clean work area. Assists other vault team members as needed.

High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred emphasis on math and computer systems. 6 months on the job training. Ability to communicate effectively with peers. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
