Job Description

Shift: 6pm-6am, 4 nights on and 4 nights off ($2.00 shift differential + up to $2,000 bonus incentives)

Responsibilities:

*Performs requirements for the maintenance technician plus, oversees the day-to-day operations of a group of employees including assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, directing efforts and providing technical guidance on more complex issues.
*Applies good, advanced trouble shooting techniques. Able to interpret and use technical documentation and schematics to solve operational problems on the production equipment.
*This individual is expected to be the "premium", "go to person" for all the harder trouble shooting problems and other instances where a higher degree of Electrical and Mechanical skill or knowledge is required.
*First line of contact for assigned staff issues to complete them to satisfaction, provide input to TDD, IDP and other performance and development needs.
*Instructs, trains and assists employees with trouble-shooting problems.
*Ensures that paperwork and data entry is accurate and complete.
*Communicates with Production to ensure needs and priorities are being meet.
*Attends meetings and assists in the planning and laying out of projects.Creates, assigns work-orders, monitors back log for opportunities to complete and insures that these work-orders get completed, and follow up to make sure that required repair parts arrive in a timely manner.
Fully engaged in the 5S/lean, tier management for organization, cleans personal and job site areas daily.
*Trains staff on proper Electrical safety procedures and ensures that these and all safety procedures are followed.

Background Profile

*Prefer 1 to 2 years of lead experience
*Requires a high school diploma
*Prefer successfully completed trade school certificate in electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic
*Minimum of 7 years' experience in an industrial maintenance repair position performing in the above scope of work.
*Ability to demonstrate the Technical skills required for this position.
*Ability to be a self-starter and work under minimal supervision.
*Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions.
*Good interpersonal skills with all levels of employees.
*State of Minnesota 'Class A Maintenance' Electrician License (or greater)*Mn Special Engineers License for the low pressure boilers.
