Job Description

Do you enjoy executing all processes in production while strictly adhering to Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), environmental health and safety guidelines? Are you looking for steady hours and weekly pay checks? Manpower has immediate opening for a Manufacturing Technician in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

What's in it for you?
* Shift 1 (5 days a week)
* 13.43$ per hour
* Temporary position for 5 months (This role will be considered for hire after 6 months)

What is the job?
* Repetitive work for long periods, typically sitting.
* May perform various tasks associated with processing tissue, chemical solutions, and small
* Component assembly required for production.
* Supply components, small parts, glassware, tubing, etc. to cell culture and purification areas.
* Operate general production equipment (such as parts washers, autoclave, stir plates, etc.)
* Complete relevant paperwork following Good Distribution Practice/Good Manufacturing
* Practices (GDP/GMP) guidelines.
* Manually clean all portable equipment and small parts.
* Participate on Continuous Improvement Teams.
* Receive and distribute supplies into the production area as necessary.
* Perform daily cleaning of the production area to maintain in GMP fashion.
* May perform other duties as assigned.
* Involves hazardous materials and hazardous waste responsibilities which include understanding and complying with hazardous materials and hazardous waste regulations for job duties such as:
o Proper handling
o Storage
o Hazardous waste in-house treatment using neutralization and dilution systems
o Labeling requirements for hazardous materials and hazardous waste

What you bring to the job?
* Very good manual dexterity
* Ability to bend and to lift up to 35lbs.
* Must be able to work in a class 7 clean room following gowning and related guidelines.
* Assembly and inspection of small components and materials with limited visual contrast requires vision to be correctable to 20/20.
* Must have good written and verbal communication skills and understanding of Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) regulations.
* Familiarity with medical device production equipment including but not limited to autoclave, DP oven and Clean In Place/Steam In Place (CIP/SIP).
* Must be able to read and follow detailed written instructions.
* Good interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
* The employee must work in a clean room environment wearing special garments.
* Additionally, personal protective equipment must be worn due to safety requirements.
* Knowledge of basic chemical and biological safety procedures.
* May require immunization before performing work within the manufacturing area.
