Job Description

Manpower has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contract Administrator in Downtown Dallas, Texas. Immediate need, lovely building and exciting position. Qualified candidates should have the following experience:


The Contracts Administrator prepares, negotiates, and maintains a defined set of the enterprise's customer contracts. Negotiates complex terms and conditions to accommodate internal and external requirements with prospective and existing customers. Partners with other customer-facing teams, e.g. Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Professional Services to collaborate on new agreements, the daily maintenance over a contract life-cycle, and contract renewals with existing customer base. Participates on various business teams and takes on special projects as necessary.


* Prepares agreements for a defined set of domestic and international customers, including new contracts, renewal contracts, amendments, Evaluation Agreements, Development Agreements, letters of agreement revising existing contract terms for current customers, and any other documentation as needed

* Leads contract negotiations with customers on legal and business issues

* Drafts unique terms and conditions for new products and features

* Analyzes existing Contract Department language and forms; defines new processes and procedures for production customer contracts

* Participates on Program, Vertical Market, Planning and other teams

* Daily functions and responsibilities within a contracts management database

* Manages all post execution activities, e.g. contract terminations, advising other internal departments on interpreting contract language

* Liaises with other internal business areas to ensure that contracts comply with company policies and practices

* Special projects as necessary


* EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or higher, or commensurate work experience in lieu of degree

* EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of transactional experience working with commercial contracts of various types; experience or knowledge within a document generation tool or other automation-centered software preferred


* Knowledge of customized contract drafting and negotiation of complex terms

* Knowledge of legal issues and best practices in contractual preparation, administration, and maintenance

* Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively communicate the results of analysis

* Excellent time management and organizational skills in a high-volume environment

* Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and native structure and rules

* Ability to effectively negotiate contract terms, identify and assess risk, and determine when appropriate to escalate within the organization as necessary.
