The Senior Reconciliations Officer is accountable for the accurate and timely reconciliation and reporting of various accounts within the company using an application as well as defined manual processes. Perform a range of specialized functions using some independent judgment; investigate as required to complete internal and external customer requests and contribute to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Central Reconciliation Controls team. Sustain operational controls and mitigate operational risks while meeting all Service Level Agreements.

In this Senior Reconciliations Officer position, you'll have the opportunity to:

* Review on-line entries that remain reconciled after automated reconciliation system proposal process has run on all accounts within scope of responsibility to manually reconcile entries and sure proper reconciliation of all accounts at all times

* Perform review of counterparty statements (eg. Statement of holdings from brokers) against internal systems (ADP, COINS, IDTGL) on a daily basis to ensure all accounts are reconciled

* Identify, source and initiate an investigation case on all outstanding entries after reconciliation process is completed to ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements and ensure no losses are incurred

* Communicate status of all queries and issues to internal/external clients to ensure resolution in accordance with policies and procedures

Are you interested? The ideal Service Representative Analyst candidate will possess:

* Excellent communication written and verbal

* University degree or college diploma in Business Commerce or Finance

* Knowledge of Financial products and services

* 2 years' experience in an automated reconciliations environment

* ADP knowledge

* Canadian Securities Course (CSC®)
