Job Description

Mortgage Sales Assistant Job in Perth Amboy, NJ. Pay rate is $22-$25 per hour



Work for a top international bank. This is a 4 month temporary position but a great way to get your foot in the door.



Job Description



* Prepare mortgage application to go out to customers

o Access UNIFI, find application, print Origination Documents

o Go through documents to ensure all necessary documents are sent and those that are duplicates are removed

o Create customer Welcome Letter with customized list of other required documents as needed

o Highlight all required signature lines for customer in 1003 disclosures.

o Put package together in Bank Brand folder

o Create UPS airbills to and from customer and include a return receipt UPS envelope for customer

o Maintain folders for MDOs containing VRUs and initial set of TRID documents



* Prepare packages for mortgage processing - Once the application packages are returned:

o Refer to MDO Submission Checklist

o Retrieve required documents from initial set of TRID documents from MDO folders, combine them with the documents that customer sent back and go through the MDO Submission Checklist to ensure that you have all necessary documents. If not, work with MDO to retrieve what is needed.

o In addition verify that documents are current, legible and single sided, complete CBR inquiry document by checking inquiries on the CBR

o Once package is complete and all details are accurate, double punch documents and separate those that need to go on right hand of folder and those that need to go on left side of folder

o Hand deliver to Mortgage Processing



* Other daily responsibilities - Since this is a startup, need to be flexible and open to new responsibilities

o Develop customized letters, emails and spreadsheets

o Reach out to customers by tacking and following up on packages/needed documents

o Call leads for soft transfer/follow up to MDOs

o Acclimate new MDOs (technology, processes, environment)

o Print VRUs from MortgageServ for existing customers.

o Do mailings

o Create Power Point presentations

o Developing policies & procedures

o Order ongoing as needed office supplies
