Job Description

JOB PURPOSE ( Contract to Perm)



The Account Processing Officer is accountable for providing professional timely and efficient service to branch (client) requests through the processing of routine nature and often single function/single product financial and non-financial transactions within Wholesale Brokerage Operations. The incumbent is accountable for processing information received from systems and branches using well-defined procedures and guidelines. Ensures productivity standards and service level agreements are met and that issues or discrepancies outside of established procedures are escalated to appropriate area/ escalation point for resolution.



What you will do:



* Receive information (e.g. new accounts, change of address, return mail, hold mail, house holding, IA code changes, EFT requests, closed accounts, etc.) from different systems and Branches for processing and opening accounts in a timely manner

* Review all documents to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and Government / Legal requirements and ensure accounts are correctly set up on the system

* Communicate with internal clients and business partners to resolve discrepancies/issues with documents received to avoid delays in processing and/or opening of accounts

* Follow up to resolve or escalate discrepancies/problems within area of responsibility based on standard work procedures.

* Review daily, weekly and monthly reports and process requests as indicated; verify output to confirm information was processed accurately
