Job Description

Manpower has partnered with a major utilities company in search of a full time Document Manager for an upcoming contract position for their office in Burnaby BC.

- Monday - Friday work week with regular office hours



As a Document Manager, you will:

- Manages documents in PPM Workspace in accordance with Document and Records Management policies, practices and standards

- Provide guidance to project teams on the Documents and Records Management policies and practices to drive conformance

- Document control on PPM Workspace Extranet, managing and tracking transmittals/submittals to external contractor.



What you will bring to the Document Manager position:

- Understanding of Document and Records Management methodology, policies and practices

- Strong attention to detail.

- Excellent organization skills

- Some experience delivering one-one- training and coaching

- Fully developed oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills

- Self-motivated, and ability to take initiative

- Excellent customer service skills



Requirements:

- Basic knowledge of project management reporting systems (i.e. SAP, Business Warehouse)

- Good typing skills (Take minutes of meetings, provide quality check and coordinate distribution with Project Manager)

- Good working knowledge of SharePoint or document management systems

- Available for Full Time during regular office hours
