Job Description

Job Summary

Maintaining machinery and equipment up to efficient standards, perform PM’s using safe and sanitary procedures as outlined by the company. Work with outside vendors with new projects and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues. Diagnose failures and implement corrective actions. Understand and follow electrical, mechanical blueprints, and structural as well. Electrical/Electronic troubleshooting with different voltages 480/220/110 and DC control voltage used within the facility and associated systems.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Tier III

Maintain machinery and equipment to standards necessary for efficient operation.
Perform preventative maintenance, keeping accurate records as required by the PM program.
Observe all safety, sanitation and personnel codes as prescribed by the company.
Maintenance as required of buildings and perimeter of.
Understanding of scheduling and equipment set ups.
Reporting of any equipment failures or related issues to appropriate personnel.
Maintenance of forklift fleet.
Sanitary welding as needed.
The requirements outlined in Marron Foods’s Food Safety and Quality System are communicated through all levels within the organization. All employees are responsible for adhering to these standards. Employees are responsible for identifying and reporting issues that could affect food safety and quality.
Tier II

Work with outside vendors in key areas of the plant, electrical mechanical, etc.
Reading and understanding of electrical and mechanical blueprints, structural as well.
Boiler maintenance, working with steam.
Tier I

Ordering and inventory of all parts as needed.
Evaluate and present viable solutions or input to new projects, maintenance of current equipment and/or modifications to current equipment.
Self-Inspection Team member. Active participant in self-inspections.

General Requirements:

Be employed by the supplier as a company employee on a full-time basis.
Minimum (3) years maintenance in an industrial operation.
Boiler experience or certification is preferred.
Electrical, mechanical, pneumatic experience.
Sanitary welding(TIG) experience preferred.
Work well with all team members of Marron Foods.
Perform tasks assigned by manager or supervisors as needed throughout the facility.
This position has the potential for advancement to Maintenance Manager.
