Job title REWS Events Lead

Location Google Mountain View & San Bruno (Youtube)

Hours/Days Monday - Friday, 8 hour shift (occasional nights and weekends)

Overall Expectation:


Manpower Event Coordinator I MTV

Under the supervision of the Event Team Manager, the Events Leads will oversee the event

activity and impact to a specified Google zone. They will also oversee the day-to-day work

priorities of the on-site event coordinators, addressing any event-related issues. This includes

shared responsibilities with leadership members to distribute event work across Norcal, while

maintaining the fundamental processes and guidelines that shape the program. Aspects of

this role will be focused on updating, communicating, and improving critical processes and

resources related to the operation. As this is a leadership role, Leads are expected to coach

associates towards success in their role as defined by the Event Team Manager. The Event

Lead will also be a first level of escalation for all operational issues associated w ith the on-site

events program, making attendance and accessibility absolutely critical. Team Leads will be

identified as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and act as a liaison between Management,

Coordinators and Google partners/clients. As the program develops and grows, flexibility will

be required as new needs and challenges are met.
