Service Order Dispatcher



Manpower is seeking a SERVICE ORDER DISPATCHER, for one of our Clients in BOSTON, MA. This is a great TEMPORARY opportunity.



Job Summary: The general purpose of this position is to support the on-site DMLLS System. This includes ensuring that all service work orders, Repair Orders (RO) and preventive maintenance work orders are received, schedule, completed, recorded and entered into the DMLLS daily and in accordance with contract requirements, company policy and site requirements. Helps to maintain all filing systems in accordance with company policy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Dispatches technicians.

* Reviews electronic work orders and time cards daily from technicians.

* Communicates effectively with customers on status of service request and quotes.

* Determines and schedules orders according to urgency.

* Establishes a control process to ensure timely work order completion.

* Receives check in calls from service workers by radio, telephone, or in person.

* Effectively communicates with employees and provides internal customer service.

* Informs workers of type and location of work to be performed and dispatches workers to job.

* Completes clerical duties such as but not limited to; tracking, faxing, and entering timecards and work orders.

* Provides customer with a quote from technicians for recommended repairs.

* Orders parts and checks pricing for quotes and repairs.

Qualifications:

* 3-6 years' work related experience in an Operations and Maintenance environment, HVAC/Facilities experience

* Must be familiar with CMMS and DMLLS

* Must be proficient in Excel and Word. May utilize PowerPoint, Project, and other programs.

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

* Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

* Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
