Job Description

MANPOWER HAS A JOB FOR YOU! One of our top clients in the Cranberry/ Warrendale, PA area is looking for an Inventory Worker. Working hours are 7:30am - 4pm, Monday - Friday. Starting pay rate is $14/HR.



POSITION SUMMARY: Perform routine manual and clerical duties in inventory areas such as receiving, stocking, storing, issuing, and/or shipping materials, parts, supplies, and/or equipment to support manufacturing and repair operations. Enter information into the computer business system to process orders and ensure inventory accuracy.



THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:



· Receive incoming material from trucks using forklifts and cranes and verify materials received are correct.



· Uncrate materials using hand and power tools.



· Tag and move material to proper locations.



· Use business system to locate materials.



· Retrieve material from inventory to fill Pick List and Sales Order/SRO requirements.



· Enter inventory and Pick List data into the business system



· Coordinate shipping, including the packaging of components for shipment and the loading of material onto trucks.



· Confirm the Bill of Materials with items being shipped.



· Disburse inventory items as required.



· Routinely lift items weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the working day.



· Perform location audits, inventory cycle counting, and reconciliation of cycle counts.



· Follow the Company's procedures to record all transactions on paper and/or in the business system.



· Perform basic arithmetic and understand metric and standard measurements.



PHYSICAL/MENTAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE POSITION AND ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS OF THE WORKPLACE:



· Ability to safely and correctly use hand and power tools and measurement devices.



· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.



· Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.



· Ability to operate powered equipment, such as a fork truck or crane.



· Ability to stand, sit, crawl, squat, kneel, twist, bend, and reach above the shoulders as required to perform essential job functions.



· Ability to work in indoor and outdoor temperatures for extended periods of time.



Requirements:



High School diploma or equivalent

Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
