Job Description

This full time position is responsible for the processing of hourly payroll of the company. It will also be responsible for the day to day administration of the company's retirement plan. M-F, 8a-5p and pays $15/hr, temp to hire.



DUTIES:

Payroll



1. Coordinate the collection and processing of hourly payroll data on a weekly basis.

2. Assist E-time users as needed.

3. Maintain and develop needed reports in the report writer module of the payroll system.

4. Maintain company contact with the outside payroll processing company.

5. Process any special bonus payroll as scheduled.

6. Process all garnishments and Friend of the Court orders in accordance with legal requirements.



Retirement Plan Administration



1. Process weekly 401k withholdings.

2. Verify weekly 401k match for employees.

3. Coordinate 401k hardship distributions as needed.

4. Participate in monthly conference calls with retirement plan investment firm and advisors.

5. Reconcile 401k withholdings and wages paid to quarterly payroll reports on an annual basis.

6. Work with outside auditors in providing information needed for annual retirement plan audit.



Other



1. Complete annual MEGA Credit and CDBG wage reports for hourly employees.

2. Other duties as directed by supervisor.

3. This position demands strict confidentiality of all information.



REQUIREMENTS:



A four-year degree in Business with an Accounting major or equivalent experience in the field. Good written and verbal communication skills. Excel or other spreadsheet experience, and 10-key proficiency preferred.
