Job Description

Our client is looking for maintenance specialists for full time and long term job in Brampton. The Maintenance Specialists will provide clerical and administrative support to Fleet Managers and assist in coordinating all aspects of daily fleet operations, including recording and reporting data.

What is the job?

Day shift

Location: Brampton, ON

Pay rate: $17 to $18 per hour

What you will do in the job?

* Maintain and administers fleet data within the company maintenance software


* Administer payroll timekeeping systems, payroll processes, daily editing, setting

up of payroll schedules, vacation scheduling and provides reporting for Fleet


* Data entry of commercial fleet repair, work orders and maintenance of warranty

claim reporting systems, including collection and reporting of data required for

quarterly warranty incentive programs.

* Maintain a consistent communication and relationship with vendors.

* Reconcile all fleet purchases including upload of invoices to SharePoint.

* Manage daily fuel and hour meter entries and reconciliation.

* Manage all aspects of parts purchasing and inventory control including tire

purchasing through the company's internal tire purchase management system.

* Maintain inventory minimum and maximum parts levels and conducts the

biannual physical parts inventory count.

* Prepare for all month-end processes and procedures in a timely manner

meeting required month-end reporting deadlines.

* Complete and maintain a variety of fleet reports as directed by the Fleet


* Maintain all fleet filing systems with respect to company policy and government

required expectations.

* Assist in the implementation of fleet projects as needed and performs other

duties as required by Fleet Manager.

What you will bring?

* Outstanding organizational skills with ability to multi-task in fast-paced


* Excellent communication skills; ability to maintain business relationships with

customers and vendors.

* Proficient in the use of computer applications (Kronos, AS400, MS Office,

SharePoint) to record, analyze and report information.

* High level of attention to detail; accuracy with data entry.

* Waste/Transportation industry knowledge is an asset.
