Marina Assistant Manager - Direct Hire

The perfect candidate must understand delivery of superior customer service at every interaction and representing the Marina with honesty, integrity and professionalism.

The Assistant GM will be involved in the advertising & marketing via social media, sales, managing staff and operations of the Marina. Strong organizational and office technology competencies are required, including Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly adapt to new software. The Assistant GM will support the Marina General Manager overseeing staff to ensure building, docks, ship store, launch ramps and grounds are being properly operated, cleaned, and maintained.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following:

* Very strong mechanical aptitude.

* Experience in sales, financing, title and registration.

* Purchasing inventory and handle vendor relations.

* Focus on operations; Writing of policies, procedures and standardize work instructions.

* Accounting and Finance Knowledge.

* Human Resource Management Training

* Flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends a must.

* Positive, outgoing and enthusiastic attitude.

* Willingness to pitch in at all levels of service including hands-on tasks.

* Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other staff members.

* Comfortable in a leadership role with other staff members.

* Computer literate; Knowledge of Social Media, Microsoft Suite and other Software.

Additional requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.

* 5 years management/customer service/and sales experience required.

* Boating experience and knowledge preferred or similar experience in a related field.

* Pre-employment background and drug screen required.
