Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Part time 8am-12pm mon-fri

* Financial: Invoicing, purchasing, bill payment and expenses management, quarterly filings, leases

* Human Resources: Offer letters, terminations, immigration visas, health insurance benefit management, 401K plan management including processing deferrals and compliance testing once a year, payroll, new employee setup, team building events and our annual holiday dinner

* Facilities Management: obtaining quotes for repairs, monitoring janitorial services, liaison to the landlord, lease renewal, and maintaining the overall professional appearance of our lab

* Corporate Insurance Renewals/Updates: Worker's Comp, E&O, Umbrella

* Administrative Management: oversee project set-ups, office supplies, and general organization of our lab

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

* 5 - 10+ years' experience in a similar role. Experience with a high-tech startup a plus

* 5+ years' experience in human resources - preferably with SHRM certification

* 5+ years' experience in facility management

* Experience in accounting/bookkeeping and QuickBooks or similar accounting software a big plus

* Excellent PC and communication skills

* Excellent organizational and analytical skills, manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently

* Quick learner, adaptable, great attitude, and proactive

* AA degree or higher degree and/or 10+ years' experience

Work Environment:

* Ability to work effectively as a part of team and independently

* Able to work in a shared, open plan lab environment
