Job Description

1. 401(k) Plan administration -

* Serve as point of contact and liaise with T. Rowe Price (third party administrator) to ensure successful administration of the 401(k) plan.

* Review reports on a regular basis and resolve issues.

* Responds to 401(k) inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts. Manages the annual catch-up contribution enrollment.

* Ad-hoc projects

2. Health & Welfare Administration

* Liaise with benefits administrator and benefit vendors to ensure successful execution of employee insurances.

* Assist with billing/accounting issues

* Assist with file issues/matters and resolutions.

* Performs quality checks of benefits-related data;

* Assist with audits/data validation matters

* Ad-hoc projects

3. Customer Service & Communications -

* Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits and other general benefits inquiries.

* Employee customer service matters- managing cases in Benefits Queue system

* Utilizing MS Outlook for monitoring tasks and managing communications

* Event setup - biometric, flu shot, etc

* Ad-hoc projects

4. Wellness Program -

* Contact for the KNFit Program, Cigna Lifestyle Management, EAP, SmartDollar, etc.

* Ad-hoc projects

Across all areas of focus, this position must pay special attention to:

* Retirement plan administration ensuring payroll/funding data matches, and any other data issues resolved in timely manner

* Data Validation to monitor data integrity and work on special ad-hoc projects to ensure data quality cross systems.

* Ethical Practice ability to uphold standards tactfully and with grace

* Relationship Management - ability to work with all personalities and engage well


Knowledge, Skills and Experience

* Minimum of 2 year of experience in benefits administration, including 401k retirement

* High level technical aptitude

* Strong excel skills (vlookups, concatenate, using formulas, comfortable with lots of data/files)

* Excellent communication skills - oral and written

* Customer-oriented

* Self-motivated and proactive - ability to hit the ground running, ask relevant questions, and retain knowledge

* Adaptable and ability to change directions effectively

* Time management skills are essential - important to be able to manage competing priorities

* BA or BS (related major preferred)

Position is for 3 months - with possibility of going longer - for the right candidate could go Full Time Permanent.
