Job Description

Contract Conformance Specialist

Manpower is seeking a Contract Conformance Specialist to fulfill a long-term contract position for a Major Pipeline Company.

Location: Calgary, AB

Summary of Key Responsibilities (job functions include but are not limited to):

*Responsible for ongoing projects compliances of executed contract(s) for the client's maintenance capital projects which include, but not limited to: Contract Administration, investigation, and resolution of non - compliance to contracts, contract management, contract close-out, supplier sourcing, negotiating, spend analysis, contract and supplier management.

Qualifications and Requirements: (2 - 5 years' experience)

*At the completion of executed contract(s), the contract documents are in compliance with only

*Facilitate and manage the client's change order process in accordance with Scope of Work

*Revisions, Delegation of Authority, Request for Information and Change Order issuance to amended contract(s)

*Actively lead or participate in weekly progress meetings with contractors and project team

*Issue all Change Orders and collaborate with site project team to track and monitor all Change

*Directives and facilitate all Change Proposal communication with Contractor

*Manage commercial elements of contracts and resolve any contractual disputes

*Manage close-out process, post notice of substantial completion, verify all legislated

*Requirements, liaise with Construction and Finance to release holdback, verify deficiencies list and resolution, reconcile and facilitate final payment, monitor final completion deliverables, complete contract close-out

*Perform QA review of contracts for key negotiated concepts, terms and conditions, risk mitigation plan and appropriate pricing mechanism

*Work closely with Contract Specialists to ensure full understanding of contract and hand over from formation to confirmation

*Review custom/complex contracts, identify costs associated with risks and develop mitigation plans

*Educate the Business on effective use and benefits of Supply Chain systems and tools

*Invoice Verification (check invoice against the contract - Daily Time Tickets / LEMS verification)
