    POSITION SUMMARY: Manufacturing of utility sheds.
    These duties may include painting, cutting lumber or plywood, assembling wall sections, trusses, doors, or any other fabricating and assembly duties associated with the construction of the Company's products.
    The essential functions for this position include but are not strictly limited to:
    * Reports to work on time each workday as scheduled and works all required hours.
    * Performs fabrication of products (cuts, trims, paints and sub-assembles) according to blueprints or other instructions efficiently using lumber and materials according to Company policies and procedures.
    * Ensures that completed sub-assembly is placed in appropriate bin for specific building assignment.
    * Informs the direct supervisor when inventory levels are low.
    * Painting duties include applying proper amounts of paint ensuring that appropriate side and edge coverage occurs and maintaining painting equipment and materials to Company standards on a daily basis.
    * Makes certain that all power and pneumatic tools are operating correctly, safely, and within manufacturer specifications including properly maintaining and lubricating tools on a daily basis.
    * Operates all tools and equipment safely and immediately notifies direct supervisor whenever a tool is unsafe or in need of repair.
    * Complies with Safety and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements including maintaining a clean and organized work area each day from start to finish.
    * Performs all other essential duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
    QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the above essential functions/tasks/responsibilities/duties satisfactorily as determined solely by management. The minimum qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform in this position as determined by management.

    Minimum Education:
    High School diploma or equivalent.

    * Minimum Job, Knowledge, and / or skills: Some knowledge of the construction industry, basic carpentry skills, basic roofing skills, basic painting skills, good customer service and customer interaction skills.
    * Ability to carry out instructions communicated in writing, orally or in diagram form.
    * Ability to read tape measure, working drawings and speed square.
    * Ability to operate air compressors, air tools, hammer, saw, drill, and other basic power tools.
    * Ability to work well with others.

    Minimum Communication Skills:
    * Ability to read, write and understand instructions given orally, in writing and/or in diagram form.
    * Ability to effectively communicate orally in one-on-one and small group situations to employees.

    Minimum Mathematical Skills:
    * Use arithmetic skills (ability to add and subtract in all units of standard U. S. measures, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals) and mathematical tools.
    Able to walk; stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk; hear.
    Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds at least 100 feet.
    Must pass a pre-employment background check.

    * Safely handle materials such as lab samples and products

    * Warehouse and inventory management experience
    * Computerized inventory management and tracking systems experience
    * Attention to details, and strong organizational skills
    * Solid interpersonal and communication skills

    The cleaning crew is required to completely clean and sanitize the plant quickly and efficiently.

    The sanitation worker is required to work in an environment that is wet, very humid and undergoes temperature changes. Due to the changing environment, a worker must constantly be aware of the affects of these changes. The sanitation worker will also be working around large processing equipment in which chemicals will be used to complete the sanitation process.

    The sanitation worker must be able to work as a team along with other members of the crew, under stressful conditions and be flexible and willing to perform varying tasks per the supervisor's instructions and in accordance with all safety guidelines mandated by the employer.

    Essential Functions:

    Frequently lift/move hoses, equipment, chemical containers weighing 20-80 lbs. throughout each and every work shift
    Wear employer-specified protective gear, including three pairs of gloves, face/eye shields, aprons, boots, etc. (some of which to be supplied by employer).
    Exposure to chemical cleaning solution (with protective gear)
    Perform varying tasks while standing, lifting, crouching, etc. during long periods of time.
    Perform all tasks safely and in a manner that will not create or pose a direct threat to the health and/or safety of the sanitation worker or any other person
    Compensation/schedule:

    $15.00 p/h

    Hours-9:30pm-6:30am must be able to work overtime

    You will get 2 days off a week but the schedule will rotate and the days off will not be the same each week so you must have a flexible schedule to work at this facility.

    SUMMARY :
    The Utility position is an hourly position, and reports to the Production Shift Supervisor. The employee is responsible for ensuring that the end process of producing quality shingles continues even during process upsets. The Utility ensures that only quality product makes it from the production line.

    QUALITY
    Perform laminator quality checks
    Ensure bundles are properly stacked when exiting autocatchers
    Evaluate layout board
    Monitor and report unusual or suspect material issues
    Remove off-specification shingles from line
    Ensure that no granule build-up is falling onto bundles
    Remove splices
    Monitor levels and application of laminate and seal

    PRODUCTION

    Be familiar with the laminator, autocatchers, palletizer, and line drive jobs and procedures
    Manually stack-off product during equipment failure
    Clear machine jams

    Prepare shingle bundles for wrapper
    Wrap or Rewrap finished product as necessary
    Visibly check measurements of shingles
    Assist in lace-up procedures
    Handle, stack, weigh, mark, and store product seconds in proper location
    Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on down days
    Assist team members to keep front end of line running smoothly
    Relieve front end team members for break periods
    Assist the shift mechanic on machine outages
    Visibly verify completion and submission of operator paperwork
    Participate in process teams
    SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    Must be able to read, write, and speak English
    Must be able to work at a reasonably fast pace
    Must be able to work flexible shift schedules
    Must have the ability to do basic mathematical calculations
    Must be able to work with a computer to perform basic data entry
    Must be able to operate a forklift
    ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

    Exposure to temperature extremes
    Exposure to sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
    Exposure to dust, dirt, fiberglass particles, and fumes
    Prolonged sitting or standing for 8 - 16 hour shifts
