    Mon-Fri. Shifts between 7 am & 8 am
    Pay Rate: 23.47/hour

    The main function of a call center/customer service specialist is to interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. A typical customer service specialist is responsible for determining the client's issue, offer possible solutions or providing follow-up as needed. Customer service agents may be inbound, outbound or a combination of both.

    Job Responsibilities:
    Approve the resolution of customers service or billing complaints by authorizing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills.
    Act as escalation point for clients/customers.
    Approve the referral of unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
    Review, monitor and audit records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
    Obtain and examine all relevant information to assess validity of complaints and to determine possible causes.
    Solicit sale of new or additional services or products.

    Skills:
    Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
    Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
    Strong ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
    Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
    Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

    Education/Experience:
    High school diploma or GED required.
    8-10 years customer service related experience required.

    What is the job?
    Job Title: Call Center Representative (Client Service Representative)
    Work Location: New York, New York 11201
    Call Center Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 8:00pm, and Saturdays 10:00am to 6:00pm
    Duration: Temp to Perm
    Salary: $15 - 16.50 per hour

    Primary Responsibilities
    * Responds to enrollment services calls, provides responses to questions, mails information in response to request, and refers callers in the event of problems or concerns.
    * Assesses client's health care needs and assists clients in enrolling/disenrolling in health plans.
    * Receives and sorts enrollment/disenrollment forms.
    * Assists or performs mailroom functions, when assigned.
    * Some Saturday work is required.
    * Meets all standards established for this position as outlined in the attached performance criteria.
    * Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Call Center Supervisor or Management.

    What do you bring?
    * Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills
    * At least 2 years of relevant work experience
    * Type at minimum 35 words per minute
    * Self-motivated individual
    * High School Diploma or equivalent required
    * Bilingual, fluent in one of the following languages:
    o Chinese
    o Russian
    o Spanish
    o Korean
    o Bengali
