    Manpower is currently recruiting for candidates to work with preparing and scanning documents for entry into a document database. These are long term temporary assignments in the Jessup, MD area. Candidates are needed on both day and evening shifts. Day shift hours are 6:45am to 3:15pm, and Evening Shift Hours are3:30pm to 12 Midnight.

    Duties:

    1. Scanning - Prepped cartons are moved (one at a time) to scanner positions. The employee loads sheets into one of various types of scanners for processing and returns sheets to the box in the same order as received. Depending on the source material, sheets may be fed into scanners one at a time or in small batches. This is primarily a seated task but feeding scanners may be while standing, 20% of position as a whole.
    2. Quality - Confirms accuracy of scanned documents. This is primarily a seated task, 10% of position as a whole.

    Qualifications:
    * Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or Engineering and graduating after January 2020.
    * A concentration or coursework in Enterprise Resource Planning a plus.
    * Prior familiarity with SAP a plus.
    * Ability to work well under pressure.
    * Project management skills including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementing.
    * Strong analytical and excellent communication skills; ability to organize and analyze cost/spend/ data and present summaries of findings.

    *Package and process outgoing overnight items, i.e. Federal Express, UPS, etc., to meet client and vendor deadlines. Log and deliver incoming overnight packages within established time frames
    *Log outgoing and incoming items as required and review for accuracy/completeness
    *Handle items for distribution for client employees, affiliates, dealers, etc.

    SUPPLIES/COPYING/PRINTING/FAXING/ADMINISTRATION
    *Move boxes, supplies or furniture; replace light bulbs
    *Organize and distribute supplies to client employees as detailed in job requests. Verify and log orders upon delivery. Monitor inventory of copy supplies, stock paper and toner and keep supply area neat (inclusive of convenience copiers)
    *Estimate runtime on the small to medium photocopy/print jobs. Check all copies produced for quality and accuracy. Produce bound copies of work when requested. Deliver and pick up copy/print jobs
    *Operate facsimile machines; send and receive facsimiles. Keep complete and accurate logs of incoming and outgoing facsimiles.

    Where appropriate, input facsimile data into computer for client charge back
    *Cover front desk reception; route incoming calls, take messages and greet visitors
    *Set up/maintain client's kitchen areas and conference rooms; order food and make coffee

    COURT FILINGS/HAND DELIVERIES/PICK-UPS -
    *Pick up and deliver mail, pouches, packages and other company material along established routes within designated time frames.
    *Deliver packages to sites not included in established routes when requested.
    *Perform court filings for legal client sites.
    *Record outgoing and incoming packages on manifests.
    *Prepare outgoing deliveries for runs to assigned locations by designated times.
    *Obtain legible signatures for items delivered.

    Additional Responsibilities include:
    * Performing floor sweeps as scheduled
    * Periodically check convenience centers and kitchens for supplies and cleanliness
    * Monitor Office Services phone and email for client requests
    * Perform quality control procedures for US Mail and accountables processing
    * Manage shipping and receiving supplies - order as necessary (US Mail, FedEx, postage, packing, etc.)
    * Maintain internal admin paperwork (mail log, closing FedEx paperwork, ATS reports, etc.)
