Manpower is partnered with a leading defense Electronics Assembler company in Lititz, PA and we are working to bring on Direct Hire Quality Assurance Engineer's to join their team.
These positions are direct hire with an annual salary of $70-85,000. Due to internal promotion and growth 3 new QAE's are needed to join this company's team!
Qualified candidates should possess the following skills:
Position Summary: This position manages all quality aspects of a specific program(s) or for a specific Customer's contracts. Activities typically include contract review, environmental oversight, development of reports, instructions, documentation as required by contract (or internal procedures), and management of issues throughout the contract lifecycle. In addition, Quality Assurance Engineers will support business system improvement activities as required by the Quality Management System (QMS).
Position Responsibilities:
* Manages all of the Quality Assurance, Reliability, System Safety, Human Factors, and Maintainability requirements of an Assigned job (e.g. Share Point, Routers, Inspection Instructions, Reports, floor support, CCBs).
* Interfaces with the internal (DCMA/resident Source personnel) and external customers for all matters of Quality Assurance, Reliability, System Safety, Human Factors, and Maintainability requirements including shipping.
* Supports job bid activities that may be requested from the VP of Quality Assurance or the QA manager.
* Reads, interprets and executes all assigned contracts/Purchase Orders.
* Generates and submits all project related Quality Assurance, Reliability, System Safety, Human Factors, and Maintainability Contract Data Requirements Listing (CDRL) or Subcontract Data Requirements Listing (SDRL) documentation.
* Attends all project related meetings and activities as applicable (internal as well as Customer).
* Executes Quality Assurance related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). When a conflict or more efficient process is identified, recommends changes to the document(s) to reflect actual or desired activities. Ensures the change will not violate AS9100 or Customer specific contractual requirements.
* Creates necessary documentation and/or presentations to communicate with internal and external customers.
* Coordinates all Hardware Qualification/First Article/Flightworthiness/etc. environmental testing with the Environmental Engineer. QAE has overall responsibility for the execution of this testing regimen.
* Executes all duties in an ethical and professional manner.
* Performs other tasks and duties as assigned to support business goals and objectives.
Essential Skills and Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in Quality Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent.
* Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Quality Assurance, combined with a demonstrated track-record of accomplishments and with satisfying customers in technology-driven, developing companies.
* DOD experience.
* Experience with Military and International Quality System rules, regulations, standards, including planning and implementation.
* Ability to take initiative, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment essential.
* GD&T and technical drawing knowledge.
* Ability to obtain Electronic Industry standard certifications such as IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, etc.
* Ability to obtain/maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
