    What will you be doing?

    * Manages the product development initiatives, tracks R&D, and develops critical paths for PD projects, tracks project milestones and reports on project status to completion.
    * Directs and oversees capital building and equipment projects including research, financial analysis, prepares recommendations and implements approved projects.

    The Ideal Candidate:
    * Experience with 3D CAD Software (Inventor / Solidworks)
    * Post-secondary degree/diploma in Mechanical Design using 3D software
    * Knowledge of mechanical design using a variety of materials and manufacturing processes.
    * Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
    * Advanced knowledge of BOM creation, process costing, CAD library maintenance, make-to-order business processes as well as Project Management software, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer and Outlook
    * Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes as they impact design
    * Experience with supervision of CAD Technicians/Technologists
    * High accuracy rate in mathematical calculations
