- $29 per hour
- Full time hours- Monday to Friday
- 6 month assignment- potential for extension/ hire

Responsibilities:
-The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of relevant employment legislation and have strong verbal and written communication skills, in addition to, effective negotiating skills and knowledge of behavioral-based interviewing.
-Full recruitment lifecycle
-In collaboration with Managers, provide exceptional client service and full lifecycle recruiting
-Consult with senior leadership to identify hiring needs and workforce plans
-Prepare a regional recruitment strategy and tactics and execute in a timely manner to ensure high quality of hire within an agreed upon time line and at an efficient cost per hire.
-Maintain strong partnerships with vendors to ensure service delivery standards are met
-Independently generates a candidate pipeline through internal postings, Internet recruitment and professional networking sites, career job fairs and other channels
-Conduct thorough applicant screening and assessment in order to recommend qualified applicants to hiring managers
-Support the reduction of agency use and recruitment costs
-Proactively network within professional circles, educational groups including Community Groups, ---Diversity Groups and Post Secondary Institutions to promote the employment brand
-Keep current with labour market trends to understand and consult with clients on market compensation, competitive trends, and skills in demand, etc.
-Track recruitment activity and support reporting of key recruitment metrics in order to measure progress against benchmarks.
-Special projects as assigned to support the enhancement of recruitment service delivery
Job Requirements:
-Minimum 5-7 years experience in full lifecycle recruiting.
-Previous experience in Insurance, Financial Services industry is an asset
-An intermediate to advanced level of knowledge in all full lifecycle recruiting components, including but not limited to, workforce planning, strategy development, employment brand, sourcing, networking, assessing, salary trends, for a broad/deep range of positions.
-Experience in the use of screening and assessment tools is an asset.
-Experienced in conducting behavioural interviews. Formal training preferred.
-Must be Internet savvy, experienced in mining online databases, applicant tracking systems and solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
-Thorough understanding of relevant employment legislation as it relates to the hiring process.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.
