    Manpower's client is currently looking to fill a permanent Commercial/Retail Property Manager role for our client, who has over 40 years' experience in the commercial and retail centres market.
    Responsibilities:
    * Reporting to senior property management
    * Maintenance of good landlord/tenant relations. This includes regular site tours and meeting with the tenants and landlord/client
    * Prompt response to all inquiries and requests by way of formal correspondence, email and telephone
    * Generate a monthly detailed report on the activity generated for each property and to communicate objectives, problems, and innovations to the owners
    * Coordinate the maintenance of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, as well as the materials, supplies, tools and equipment necessary for the building operation
    * Property inspections - Deficiency reporting, contract management, development of budgets
    * Understanding of the leasing process and effectively supporting the broker/agency leasing team.

    Education/Experience:
    * Experience in commercial property management is an asset
    * Valid driver's license and vehicle
    * Must pass a criminal records check
    * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
    * Excellent organizational skills
    * Licensed as a Property Manager in Alberta, or willing to become licensed.

    Millwright / Building Operator is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance, routine and on-demand services on facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systems for the assigned facility. Also responsible for performing work in accordance with established processes and practices and for complying with internal and external requirements including but not limited to environmental, health and safety, fire protection.

    Job Specifications:
    Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systems as well as any other building on demand or PM requirements.
    Performs regular facility, facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systems monitoring and inspection, preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure facility uptime objectives are met, uninterrupted client operation and asset integrity of assigned facility are maintained.

    Provides observations about facility, facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systems conditions and deficiencies and provides recommendations for enhancement and repair.

    Monitors assigned facility by conducting facility walkthroughs, mechanical and electrical equipment and system monitoring and inspection

    Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical building systems and equipment

    Responds to routine and on-demand service requests and performs preventative and corrective maintenance on facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systems

    Records resolution data within service maintenance management database. Ensures work completed meets quality, contract response and all other requirements

    Receives, tracks, monitors and reports status of maintenance and repair work within service maintenance management database. Initiates documents to obtain formal approval of work required.

    Assists in the implementation of preventative maintenance (PM) program. Ensures that deficiencies are identified, recorded and escalated, and that related documentations are maintained.

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:
    3-5+ years related experience in facility operations and maintenance work
    Min. High school diploma plus trades training and certification or licensing - Journeyman Millwright License
    Advanced ability to maintain and repair mechanical and electrical building systems and equipment
    Advanced troubleshooting and resolution skills in order to determine and resolve building mechanical and electrical equipment and system issues
    Current knowledge of fire, life, safety and building codes and standards and ability to research and apply related codes and standards
    Strong client-service orientation along with a high sense of urgency
    Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
    Preferred (or interest in acquiring): Facilities Technician Certification, Systems Maintenance Technician through Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI), Systems Maintenance Administrator through Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI)
