    Commercial Retail Property Manager

    Our client, who has over 40 years' experience in the commercial and retail centres market, is currently looking to fill a permanent Commercial/Retail Property Manager role.

    Responsibilities:
    * Reporting to senior property management
    * Maintenance of good landlord/tenant relations. This includes regular site tours and meeting with the tenants and landlord/client
    * Prompt response to all inquiries and requests by way of formal correspondence, email and telephone
    * Generate a monthly detailed report on the activity generated for each property and to communicate objectives, problems, and innovations to the owners
    * Coordinate the maintenance of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, as well as the materials, supplies, tools and equipment necessary for the building operation
    * Property inspections - Deficiency reporting, contract management, development of budgets
    * Understanding of the leasing process and effectively supporting the broker/agency leasing team.

    Education/Experience:
    * Experience in commercial property management is an asset
    * Valid driver's license and vehicle
    * Must pass a criminal records check
    * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
    * Excellent organizational skills
    * Licensed as a Property Manager in Alberta, or willing to become licensed.

    * Complete standard records of work performed, including checklists
    * Greet Tenants and Suppliers and develop courteous relationships
    * Establish working relationships with other building operations' staff to understand the process for delivering excellent service
    to Tenants
    * Identify unusual incidents or situations and promptly report them to Supervisor and/or Property Manager
    * Preform any other duties as required from time to time
