Job duties include but are not limited to: preparing sample/solutions per written procedures, identification and other physicals testing, maintaining accurate laboratory documentation according to pharmaceutical cGMP, use of laboratory equipment for analysis such as analytical balances, pH meter, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, HPLC, GC etc. Must be detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task and work well with other lab technicians to complete daily assignments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Individual must be flexible to work different shifts to complete training and meet the needs of the company/department.
    1st shift training - Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm, pay rate 16/hr
    perm shift: weekend: Friday-Sunday 7am-7pm, pay rate 17.75/hr

    The purpose of this position is to provide outreach and assistance to educate communities on the benefits in planning to protect drinking water sources for communities. This position provides technical and planning assistance to public water systems and communities in developing or updating source water protection plans and assessments, as well as other planning documents that prevent water outages and support long term, safe, sustainable sources of drinking water in West Virginia.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
    * Provides technical assistance to local communities developing and implementing community comprehensive plans, administering the plan.
    * Schedules, plans, and conducts source water meetings involving attendees from the Department of Environmental Protection and Department of Health and Human Resources.
    * Prepares testimony and participates in Department of Environmental Protection rulemaking process as authorized by the Executive Director.
    * Prepares testimony for and testifies before legislative committees as authorized by the Executive Director.
    * Develops and implements public information, education and technical assistance programs on planning and development.
    * Conducts research; assembles and analyzes information; prepares reports, presentations, recommendations, etc.
    * Provides data, information, policy interpretation and technical assistance related to programs and projects.
    * An individual in this position may have to work in case of emergencies or natural disasters.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    * Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
    * Knowledge of the principles, practices and objectives of local planning.
    * Knowledge of the social and economic issues affecting the resources of the state and the methods and procedures involved in the preparing and submitting of reports and recommendations.
    * Knowledge of zoning regulation and code administration.
    * Knowledge of the local, state and federal planning programs and procedures.
    * Ability to cooperate with staff, members, and the public.

    We are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Lab Technician in the Evansville area. This is a first shift position that will pay $17 an hour.

    Position will be a laboratory role that is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

    Laboratory Technician. Prepares and analyzes samples using multiple analytical techniques in a quality control atmosphere. Able to follow established methods and standard operating procedures while utilizing preferred laboratory techniques. Operates, calibrates and maintains laboratory instruments and equipment. Effectively performs duties required in the routine maintenance of a safe and efficient laboratory environment which is compliant with company and regulatory guidelines. Maintains current, complete, legible notebooks and laboratory records in compliance with good scientific and regulatory practices. Communicates directly with management and other departments on potential quality issues through prompt and detailed verbal and written communication. Assists with investigations pertaining to quality issues. Contributes to trouble shooting of methodology and instrumentation. Comfortable working in a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.

    Job Requirements/Education:

    BS/BA degree in a natural science (chemistry, biology, food science, etc.) preferred. Non-degreed candidates with equivalent skill and experience will also be considered. Demonstrates attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Demonstrates ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience using Microsoft based computer applications a must. Familiarity with ICP-OES, GC, HPLC, Spectroscopy, wet chemical techniques, and laboratory information management computer systems preferred. Experience working in a GMP and FDA regulated environment preferred. Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates the ability to achieve results while operating within company policies and procedures.

    This position requires the individual to work with chemical or physical agents which may pose health or safety hazards if improperly handled.

    Position is seeking a person capable of running an Intevac 200L Sputter Machine in a proficient manner to fulfill the requests for the Media Development Engineering organization. Tasks and duties will include processing experiments precisely as documented or requested by the Engineering staff. Requirements are to work in class 10 /100 cleanroom environment, follow all procedures and protocols, follow instructions well, provide feedback to coworkers/leads in a constructive/positive manner, provide technical support and suggestions to Engineering, run sputter machines efficiently and effectively, collect sputter related data on metrology tools, maintain excellent documentation, work collaboratively in a team environment to help exceed goals. Minimum requirement for these positions, is proficiency in the use of Microsoft software, especially Excel, very good at data entry into the sputter GUI system, multi task and work in a very fast paced environment with very good comprehension and understanding.
