Assistant Catering Chef

Our client, a large local employer with a reputation for excellence, is now hiring an Assistant Catering Chef! This is a great temp-to-hire opportunity that will enable you to further develop your culinary skills in a fast-paced, large-scale setting.

What's in it for you?

* A stable full time, temp-to-hire job

* $15/hour, paid weekly

* 7am-3:30pm schedule working 5 days per week (every other weekend required, with 1 day off in the middle of that week)

* Develop your culinary skills

What will you be doing?

* Assisting the catering chef with food prep

* Using knife skills to prepare fruit and cheese trays, salads, and more

* Ensuring high-quality food presentation

* Ensuring food safety by following proper food handling processes

What will you bring to the job?

* Experience using kitchen knives to create high-quality food presentations

* Prior sous chef, catering kitchen, or restaurant "hot line" experience
