Job Description

Work Hours:



Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (hours may vary)







Responsibilities:



Assists with preparing breakfast and lunch food items for employees under the direction of the Chef, and serves customers on the main food line.







Qualifications:



* High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

* Preferred Culinary training or related work experience

* 1 - 2 years food service experience

* Required food service/hospitality experience

* Required experience with use of knives, manual and electronic kitchen appliances

* Good communication skills including the ability to listen and adhere to written and verbal instructions and exchange information effectively

* Able to count and perform basic math calculations

* Must be pleasant and tactful when interacting with customer

* Frequent contact with employees and vendor of the First Hawaiian Center

* Ability to read and comprehend information

* Attention to detail and excellent follow-through

* Able to manage time effectively
